My name is Halee Bohman, and I live on a 7000-acre family farm, Ridgeview Farms, in the small town of Troy, Idaho. Along with growing up on our farm, I have learned about the joys and discomforts of agricultural life, and I have learned to love it. I am an avid FFA member who is very passionate about farming life and what I do. Currently, I serve as the 2022-23 Idaho FFA State President. I am attending the University of Idaho, where I am double-majoring in Agricultural Systems Management and Agribusiness, with a minor in Crop Management and Commodity Risk Management. Now, I am applying this love for farming to my love for FFA. For my FFA Supervised Agricultural Experience Project, or SAE for short, I am harvesting and locally selling our farm's quality hay that doesn't meet current strict export hay standards. With this project, I have received my State Degree and am continuing to pursue this project to receive my American Degree-- a degree in which only 3% of members recieve.
